Our story
Portalizx started as a small recording setup in a spare room and grew into a studio built around one idea: that stories deserve time, care and honesty. Today we publish essays, interviews and audio episodes covering the craft of writing and podcasting in South Africa.
We are not a media company chasing scale. We are a handful of writers, editors and audio producers who enjoy doing this work properly, and who publish everything for free.
